Territory Manager – Kootenays/East Kootenays/Boundary Region
Are you a sales pro that’s passionate about craft beer? We’re looking for a territory manager to support our sales efforts in the Kootenay region. If you put relationships and service first and bring a high level of business acumen and experience along for the ride, then we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for growing sales in a mature and established territory
- Foster excellent working relationships within a diverse account base that includes government/rural stores, private retail and LIC locations
- Be a high-level sales pro that can set objectives and communicate in detail how you’ll action your strategy – while at the same time anticipate problems, outlining how they’ll be overcome
- Maintain accurate records utilizing internal account/sales trackers
- Be the in-field expert and information centre for Management, Ownership, and Marketing
- Manage provincial business expenses following company guidelines
- Travel effectively across a large geographical territory cultivating a professional face to face call cycle with all buyers
- Review historical and monthly sales data to formulate targeted strategies that achieve plan
- Be available for all festivals, tastings, and high-profile company events
- Attend weekly sales meetings at the brewery as well as weekly strategic sales one on ones with manager
- Service accounts ensuring a best in-class NBC experience is delivered
Requirements:
- Currently maintains quality business relationships
- Always represents the company with the highest level of professionalism and care
- Poses a high business and technical acumen with functional working knowledge of Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams as well as Zoom
- Ability to analyze statistics and performance data
- Skilled in calculating the company’s return on investment in all situations
- An effective team player that can work and thrive within a defined and structured performance culture
- Available to work flexible hours, including some weekends, evenings, and some holidays
- Ability to travel throughout your territory with some overnights required
- Ability to work independently while supporting the team in all facets of our business
- Comfortable presenting to industry groups and customers throughout all channels
- University Degree and/or equivalent industry experience
- Sales Training, Cicerone (CBS), WSET or equivalent beverage courses are an asset
- No driving or travel restrictions and must provide a clean driver’s abstract
Package
- Competitive Salary Based on Experience (50 – 60k)
- Annual Bonus Structure (KPIs) 10% of salary
