It’s one of the craziest years on record but we knew that our community of Nelson, B.C would be up for coming together for a great cause, and a delicious beer. Introducing Pridealcious (So Delicious!) – Strawberry Basil Sour.
After chatting with our team at the brewery about causes close to their heart, the response was overwhelming, and it seemed like a no-brainer that partial proceeds from this beer would be donated to the Diversity in Brewing Scholarship.
Diversity in Brewing is a grassroots collective dedicated to celebrating and supporting diversity in the craft beer industry. In 2020 they established the Diversity In Brewing Award – an annual scholarship with Kwantlen Polytechnic University to support BIPOC and LGBTQ2S+ brewing students.
Pridealicious (So Delicious!) was brewed with a Pride-Parade-Float full of strawberry puree, huell melon hops and a touch of basil. Enjoy its soft, pillowy mouthfeel and delicate pink hue. This beer has a mellow, tart finish that will keep you coming back for more.
“We really wanted to thank our team and community of Nelson for coming together to make this beer happen. It means so much to see our favourite bars and restaurants around town jumping on the opportunity to support such a rad cause!” says Sales and Marketing Coordinator Sophia Feliciello.
Look out for Pridealicous cup-cakes from Cake Betty, and Strawberry Basil cones from the hottest new ice-cream joint in town – Big Dees.
On tap at The Royal, Broken Hill, The Black Cauldron and The Hume Hotel. 4pks are available at our Latimer Street taproom.
