About the Role
Nelson Brewing Company is looking for a Delivery & Warehouse Associate to join our team and help get great beer into the hands of customers across the Kootenays.
This is a hands-on role that combines beer delivery, warehouse operations, packaging support, and customer service. You’ll be an important part of our brewery team while also being one of the faces of Nelson Brewing Company out in the community.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver beer to retail and hospitality accounts throughout the Kootenays in a safe, professional, and friendly manner
- Load, unload, and organize kegs and packaged beer, including proper stock rotation (FIFO)
- Prepare customer orders for distribution
- Safely operate a forklift
- Assist with packaging and other brewery production activities as needed
- Keep the warehouse, storage, and loading areas clean, organized, and safe
- Help maintain and care for company delivery vehicles
- Provide excellent customer service to our customers and partners
- Support general brewery operations as needed
- Represent Nelson Brewing Company and live out our company Mission, Vision, and Values
What We’re Looking For
- Valid driver’s licence and a clean driving record
- Ability to safely lift and move heavy kegs and other products (up to 150 lbs)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude and ability to remain calm under pressure
- Comfortable working independently while also being a strong team player
- Reliable, organized, and safety-conscious
- Comfortable working in a physically demanding, hands-on environment
Working Conditions
- 32 hours per week, four days per week
- Primarily based at our brewery in Nelson, BC, with regular driving throughout the Kootenays
- Physically demanding work involving frequent lifting and moving of kegs and packaged beer
- Combination of warehouse, brewery, and delivery work
