TERRITORY MANAGER – NELSON BREWING COMPANY
Job Summary
Nestled in the heart of the Kootenays, Nelson Brewing is a vibrant, award-winning brewery that is committed to crafting memorable experiences for our customers, team and community. We thrive on a dedication to continuous improvement, and a culture that values hard work and good times. As we continue to grow and evolve, we are looking for an experienced and driven Territory Manager to grow our brand in the Kootenays and foster lasting relationships with customers and key partners.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for craft beer, a proven track record in sales, and the ability to execute effective sales strategies. You’ll be the face of our brewery in the marketplace. You’ll build and maintain relationships with key accounts, drive sales growth, and represent our brand with enthusiasm and integrity. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, is self-motivated, and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with liquor stores and on-premise accounts
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our market presence
- Educate customers and staff about our product and company story
- Execute sales strategies and promotions to achieve sales targets
- Collaborate closely with the brewery team to ensure seamless communication and customer satisfaction
- Represent the brewery at events, tastings and festivals
- Provide feedback from the field to help shape our products and marketing efforts
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and account information
Qualifications
- Genuine passion for craft beer and an understanding of the current market
- Minimum 2 years of experience in beverage sales within the alcohol industry, preferably craft beer
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic and team-first attitude
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and willingness to travel
- University or college degree in business or related field is preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours, including some evening and weekends
